The former CM of Karnataka, Kumaraswamy, is pulling out all the stops to cement his position is film industry once again. Returning to film industry after 14 years, Kumaraswamy, who is waiting for the release of his son Nikhil's launch Jaguar in Telugu, revealed his future plans, upcoming films and said that his up next film with Jagapathi Babu as hero is on the cards.
"I'm producing a film with Jagapathi Babu as hero. Jagapathi Babu and I've discussed all issues and finalised it. Debutante director is going to direct the film. We're planning to launch it in Novemeber," shared HD Kumaraswamy.
When asked about what made him comeback to his film while he is successful in politics, he gently replied, "I started my career as a film distributor and later joined politics. When I had asked my son not to choose politics, he took a while and after much thought he came back to me and said he want to become actor. For him, I'm returning to film industry where my roots are."
Kumaraswamy further stated that he'd continue to produce films from now on wards. "I'll produce a film each year and I'll continue to make films in Telugu which is a bigger market. Kannada is a small market compared to Telugu industry and I know how Telugu people accept, encourage people from other regions with open hands and hence we're launching Nikhil in Telugu," concluded Kumaraswamy who said he is confident of getting every Rupee he spent on his son's high-budget film Jaguar. The film directed by Mahadev is due for Censor in two or three days and makers are planning to release the film on Oct 6.
