Akkineni Nagarjuna, Karthi’s emotional family drama Oopiri in which Tamannah played an important role has been received to overwhelming response. Collections all over worldwide are decent to good. However, Oopiri was made on a lavish scale in bi-lingual.
Oopiri was under production for many days which is one of the reasons for the high budget. As per producer Oopiri was made with a budget of 62 crores. Oopiri’s Tamil version is not performing well as expected.
So producers are relying more on Telugu version to recover their investments. According to trade pundits, movie has to perform at par with Nagarjunas recent blockbuster Soggade Chinni Nayana which is far from possible, going by the current trends. We have to see, where this movie head.
