Dil Raju catching dry leaves or golden eggs?

Ace Telugu producer Dil Raju is known for his penchant in making quality entertainers and he picks up stories that appeals to all sections of audiences. He is hailed for his judgemental skills too, but at the moment he is entangled in a confusion of what is next. Disastrous performance of Ramayya Vastavayya at box office and no palpable profits from successful Yevadu has pushed Dil Raju into uncertainty. Rather going after huge budgeted flicks that are burning his hands, the producer is now taking up small projects like 'Kerintha', whose budget is below 3 crores. Way back in 2009, when Naga Chaitanya's debut flick 'Josh' failed, Dil Raju felt like making movies with new comers is a like catching dry leaves after fire. He felt that huge budgeted big star movies will lay him golden eggs and produced Brindavanam, Mr Perfect, SVSC, Ramayya and Yevadu. But the man with Midas touch lost his golden hand, and lost belief on his judgement in deciding fate of big budget flicks. He is again going back to his old school of new comers and limited budgets. Director Sai Kiran Adivi's latest movie 'Kerintha' is being produced by Raju now. So what is in store for him? A reward or slap. Only time will tell.
