Peoples star R Narayana Murthy is out of action for long ago. The multi-faceted actor-director-producer who once delivered back to back blockbusters is botching to impress at least his section of audiences.
Director Puri Jagannadh, a die-hard fan of Narayana Murthy had offered the 'Red star' a crucial role of sincere police officer in young tiger Jr NTR starred film Temper. However, the actor had rejected it saying he won't act in mainstream films.
The role was later given to Posani Krishna Murali who won several awards for portraying the influential role.
Interestingly, Narayana Murthy recently gave nod to feature in Bichagadu fame producer Chadalavada Srinivas Rao's directorial debut venture titled 'Head Constable Venkatramaih'. Jaya Sudha has been roped in for female lead opposite Narayana Murthy.
Big puzzle is why Narayana Murthy rejected Puri Jagannadh and why did he accept to do 'Head Constable Venkatramaih'? As per a known, Narayana Murthy accepted the film as it is not a regular commercial film and will have a strong message. "The film will have healthy comedy too," informs the source.
'Head Constable Venkatramaih' is about an honest head constable who faces both personal and professional glitches because of his goodness. It will be interesting to see Narayana Murthy in such role!
