With only six months to go for release of Baahubali-The Conclusion, producers of the magnum opus have begun to open gates to sell the distribution rights. They already have confessed how big they are expecting for part-2, after witnessing the unmatchable box office collections for The Beginning.
Earlier, speculations were all over that producer Suresh Babu has bagged the Nizam rights for a whopping 50 Crore but it turned out to be completely incorrect. Ace producer Dil Raju, who considers Nizam a chocolate-box for his distribution business, has grabbed the part-1 rights for 25 Crores. But, even he doesn't seems to have shown interest to bid for Conclusion.
The latest we hear is Narayan Das Narang and Sunil Narang of Asian films have acquired the Nizam rights for an undisclosed price. An underlying rumor that is catching fire all over the industry is, Narang brothers have shelled out 50 crores to grab the Nizam rights of Baahubali-2.
Confirming the development, the official twitter page of Baahubali has posted an update this evening and for an unknown reason, it was deleted after a few minutes. It remains to be seen whether was it an indication that the deal will change hands, since Arka Media is yet to confirm the news.
However at the end of day, the massive craze among distributors is apparently putting the makers in a highly profitable zone. As Baahubali:The Beginning proved its prowess globally with 650 crore collections, the makers are playing big with The Conclusion.
Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni are rolling out this legendary film under Arka Media banner. Under the direction of SS Rajamouli, KK Senthik Kumar is handling camera and MM Keeravani is composing music.
