Heroine Catherine Tresa was signed for a special song in Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Khaidi No 150'. This 'Sarrainodu' beauty was more than happy to be a part of the film that has Chiru in the lead role. She even requested the makers to give her time to practice, as Catherine wanted to make sure that her dance moves should compliment Megastar's steps.
However, things took a turn and the news is already out that Catherine Tresa got replaced by Lakshmi Rai. When contacted, sources close to the unit said, "Catherine insisted on having her own stylist for this song. Since Chiru's daughter Sushmita was handling that department, makers said a firm NO and asked Catherine to compromise. With just two days to go for the song shoot, Catherine started to practice her moves and the day before the shoot, she found out that the costumes styled by Sushmita weren't good enough. Those costumes weren't comfortable and Catherine said that she cannot dance in those tight outfits. This didn't go well with Chiru's daughter and she took the matter seriously. That is how the things got worse and finally, Catherine walked out of the film".
Since the makers had no time to wait for the replacement, they have decided to go with Lakshmi Rai, who sizzled in an item number in Pawan Kalyan's 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh'.
