After 8 long years, Megastar Chiranjeevi is donning the greasepaint once again for his much hyped 150th film, Kathilantodu. The film's first schedule has already been wrapped up yesterday.
Kathilantodu is an official remake of the blockbuster Tamil film, Kaththi. The film's revolves around the intense fight of a common man against a rich and mean industrialist to stop him from encroaching the fertile farm lands and water for his personal gains.
While Mega fans are excitedly waiting for Kaththi's release, senior director Kodandarami Reddy, who gave Chiru several memorable hits like Veta, Challenge and Kondaveeti Donga etc, says nobody will watch Chiru's movies if he acts in films that give out messages to the audiences.
The senior director also said that people may even laugh at Chiru if he mouths heroic punchlines at this age. He further said that if things fall into place, he will direct a comedy film starring Chiru. Will the Mega fans prove the senior director wrong after Kathilantodu's release next year?
