Mega Princess Niharika Konidela's acting debut film Oka Manasu released with a huge hype but fizzled out soon due poor content. However, Niharika garnered decent applause for her acting skills.
Soon after the film's debacle, Niharika, who was aggressively promoting the film, disappeared from the scene and has been maintaining total silence. There were also reports that Niharika is mulling a comeback to her favorite forte, TV shows.
Amidst reports of her quitting films, Niharika gave her detractors a strong reply by signing her second film. Following her debut debacle, Niharika seems to be playing it safe this time as she has chosen to remake a hit Marathi film.
Niharika will be acting in the Telugu remake of Happy Journey, the hit Marathi film directed by Sachin Kundalkar. The film showcases the relationship of a young girl and her brother. The girl dies and turns into a ghost to again be with her brother.
Harshavardhan Rane may be playing Niharika's brother and more details about the film's director and producer will be revealed soon
