Especially, Oopiri has so far grossed more than $1.5 million in overseas and is also heading towards becoming a highest grosser in Nagarjuna's career.
Thanks to this humongous hit, Oopiri has been a hot cake in the TV circuit and several TV channels were in race vying for its satellite rights. As per the latest update, popular entrainment network Sun Network has grabbed Oopiri and the film's Tamil version Thozha's satellite rights for a whopping 14 crores.
This is undoubtedly one of the best satellite deals in the recent Tollywood history in terms of return on investment for both the parties. Thanks to its sensitive human emotions and rib tickling comedy throughout the film, faculty audiences lapped up Oopiri during the theatrical run and the same feat will repeat for the satellite telecast as well.
