The Jungle Book which has Indian origin Neel Sethi in lead role was expected to do great business in India and to ensure this, it was released a week before worldwide business. This gamble by Disney pictures paid off so well.
Hollywood films though have a release in India it was confined to a limit but The Jungle Book broke many records in the process of its run so far. According to reports, The Jungle Book which released on April 8 in India, had the smoothest run here. It opened at the box office with 10.09 cr, which is the highest any Hollywood film has grossed on its first day at the box office.
So far, it has collected over 100 Cr and its smooth run is expected to tumble more numbers.
