Looks like Bollywood action star Akshay Kumar has learnt a lesson from Shah Rukh Khan's recently released Fan, where an ordinary fan takes on his favorite star to avenge the insult caused by the star. Today, Akshay took to his Twitter page and issued a public apology to his fan who was punched by his bodyguard.
A couple of days ago, a young fan was excitedly getting too close to Akshay to click a selfie with his favorite star as he came out of the Mumbai airport. Instead of controlling the fan, one of Akshay's bodyguards punched him in his face. A video of this act started going viral online upsetting everyone.
Expressing his severe displeasure over the incident, Akshay tweeted today, "What happened that day was unfortunate and uncalled for. I have reprimanded him (bodyguard) and given him a strict warning for the same. My sincere apology to the fan who was hurt. I hold my fans in the highest regard and such incidents are always upsetting. I will ensure such a scenario is avoided in the future".
