After National award winning Tamil actor Dhanush's 'Raghuvaran B.Tech' proved to be a solid hit in the Telugu states, enthusiastic makers dubbed and released several of his films such as Mariyan, Pandem Kollu, Nava Manmadhudu, Anekudu, Naradudu, Mass etc. in Telugu. However, none of these films could repeat the magic of 'Raghuvaran B.Tech'.
Yet another Dhanush's Tamil film is now being dubbed in Telugu as 'Rail'. It will hit screens on 22nd September. Already, Dhanush has scored 4-5 flops in Telugu post Raghuvaran B.Tech and now the makers are releasing this film amidst very low-key promotions. The trailer reveals that the film's entire story runs on a running train and there is little comedy in the thriller. To make matters worse, Nani's 'Majnu' will hit screens just a day after.
The only positive for this film is the presence of Keerthy Suresh as lead heroine. After Keerthy's debut Telugu film 'Nenu Sailaja' became a big hit, she has amassed sizeable fan following the Telugu states. She will be the key factor to decide if audiences turn up at theatres to watch this film or will the film go down as another flop for Dhanush.
