Generally heroes run after successful directors but here is an exceptional case where a flop director has been preferred over a two-time successful director.
Young Telugu hero Ram, who will be next seen in 'Hyper', had few months ago announced to work with writer turned director Anil Ravipudi, who has scored two successive hits with 'Pataas' and 'Supreme'. The project was supposed to have Ram playing a blind man. However, the latest reports in film circles suggest that Ram has dropped the project of Anil Ravipudi and instead he has given green signal for Karunakaran.
It is well-known that Karunakaran is going through a dull phase. His last release 'Chinnadana Neekosam' starring Nithiin was heavily panned by critics. Moreover, he delivered a disaster called 'Endukante Premanta' in his penultimate attempt. The film had Ram himself in lead role. Despite this, Ram is heard not to have lost faith in Karunakaran and handed him yet another opportunity. Only time will tell if Ram's decision was correct or not.
The yet-untitled film is expected to go on floors soon. Ram's 'Nenu Sailaja' co-star Keerthy Suresh is rumored to pair up with him in this film.
