When an actor can grab easy eyeballs and good applause for attempting new-age roles and off-beat characters, he couldn't help but start intensifying the same game. One of those few actors we've is Karthi Sivakumar, who emerged as an exciting prospects of south.
Boosted with the success of Madras and Oopiri (Tozha in Tamil), Karthi is quietly hinting an interesting character design for all the filmmakers who would want to work with him. The actor who is currently working for Maniratnam's project has reportedly expressed his desire to act in an agriculture-based movie by playing a 'farmer' role.
'I love playing farmer if I get opportunity.' said Karthi by adding, 'Looking forward to attempt an agriculture-based movie with a fair amount of commercial elements. In a sincere attempt to re-drive all quarters of people towards agriculture and expose how young blood in nation is failing to take it forward, I would love to portray a farmer character.'
Perhaps that is why Karthi is considered as a varied actor with an ability to portray any kind of role he's offered with. All of his films deduce what he's capable of and come 28 October, his upcoming historical drama 'Kashmora' will be striding into cinemas worldwide.
