Comedian In Trouble With A Tweet On Modi

Kapil Sharma, the most-popular stand-up comedian in India, is undoubtedly the most-sought after man among Bollywood circles. Although he failed to make a mark as hero, his show attracts almost all the actors of B-town for promoting their films. Now, he's back in headlines with a sensational tweet and it's something connected to the biggest problem of India - corruption.

Despite being the popular show-man in India, Kapil seems to have gone through a bad patch with government while getting his office set up in Mumbai. According to his latest post on twitter, Mumbai civic body BMC asked him to pay 5lakh as bride to get his office made. Tweeting the same, he posted it to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 'I am paying 15 cr income tax from last 5 year n still i have to pay 5 lacs bribe to BMC office for making my office @narendramodi.'

What really landed him in trouble is when he took over PM by asking, 'Yeh hai aapke acche din?' Although Kapil attempted to bring out the problem he's facing with BMC, it has landed him in a controversy on Twitter. While a set of people hailing for what he's done, others trashing him for pointing the issue at Narendra Modi.

It would be interesting to see how Prime Minister Modi is going to respond over Kapil's tweet. However, the chief minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis assured an action against them with his tweet, 'Kapilbhai pls provide all info. Have directed MC, BMC to take strictest action. We will not spare the culprit. @KapilSharmaK9 @narendramodi'
