If two celebrities who got married after a deep love story behave erratic with each other, then rumours arise that they are heading for a split. Same is the case with this popular director and glamorous heroine of yesteryear, until they stepped in to clear the air.
Acclaimed director Priyadarshan who made movies like Nirnayam (Nag and Amala starrer) and Khatta Meeta (Trisha's first Hindi flick) is the one we are talking about. after years of love, he married former heroine Lizy in 1990. Their love is so talked about that Lizy converted to Hinduism post marriage and has quit acting too, despite getting huge offers. The couple got a son and daughter who are studying in USA from a time. However, after 24 years of marriage, rumours have now erupted that the Priyadarshan and Lizy are heading for a divorce.
Reacting on the rumours, Priyadarshan stated that Lizy is not demanding crores of rupees from him as publicized in media and denies seeking divorce. 'It's true that we got ego-centric issues, but we are not splitting for that silly reason. We are trying to sort our differences', he adds. Lizy is the co-owner of CCL Team Kerala Strikers, while her husband is invisible partner.
